Sunset on a farm in Pennsylvania. A quarantine hobby.

I had this idea at the start of quarantine to venture out into the Wissahickon to capture images of people in nature. I wanted to make a T-shirt that said, “find yourself” with deferreddreams.com on the front, and “find me” with @deferreddreams1 on the back. The idea was in order to bring traffic to my blog from people interested in seeing what I am up to in the woods and finding their own pictures. I never got around to making those shirts and I haven’t spent much time with my camera.

This first set of photos featured in the gallery are all very old but this is the first of many posts. I have many more to look through on my computer and I have much more time on my hands now. Winter shots will be acquired while there is still snow as well so stay on the lookout. Quarantine activity options decrease significantly in the winter and leave much to be desired. Let’s make the most of it!

I’ve always appointed myself as the photographer in my circles. I wanted a DSLR camera to begin my hobby but I’m not all that interested in taking pictures of people. Landscapes are my favorite. I love to capture golden hour photos; the pink, purple, and blue skies are absolutely beautiful. The more I do it, the better I’ll get. Join me on my photography adventure!
